The short answer is yes. It seems, Netflix is convinced that the series will progress and that its second installment will be well received by the public, since it renewed the series for a new batch of episodes at the end of 2020.

The fiction developed by Carlton Cuse, Mederith Averill and Aron Eile Coleite began production on its new season in May 2021 and ended it on August 20, 2021, as confirmed by Darby Stanchfield (Nina Locke) through a post on Instagram.
