Tom Holland Responds To Spider-Man Fan Reactions To No Way Home Trailer

Tom Holland took to his Instagram to express his gratitude to fans after the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer released yesterday. The trailer dropped just after 9:30 p.m. and within 20 minutes it had racked up over half a million views, and is now heading towards the 35 million mark. Holland was flying as the trailer fell, so he failed to watch the reactions live, but made sure to let everyone know as soon as he could.

"Hey everyone what's up… I'm at the airport, I've been flying for ten hours, so I haven't really posted the trailer my brother Harry made, so I couldn't see the reactions and how excited everyone is, and i just landed, i turn on my phone and my phone went crazy. "

“The love and support you show for the film is so exciting. Honestly this is just the tip of the iceberg, you have no idea what's to come, I'm so excited to share more with you, and it's so good to be back with Spider-Man and showing you trailers - to have movies coming out - it's so exciting. So yeah, I love you all, thank you for your support, and enjoy the trailer ”- Tom Holland .

The Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer leaked early yesterday, as an unfinished grainy version without a lot of special effects shots in place. While it was rumored that Sony would unveil the trailer at CinemaCon but not release it to the general public, it is unclear to what extent the leak influenced the decision to air the trailer on all social media platforms. but it seems likely that was the plan from the start.

Similar to the initial reactions to Eternals' first teaser a few months ago, fans were divided. There were those who were thrilled to finally get a glimpse of what to expect from the film when it arrives in December, with clear signs of the Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Electro, Doctor Strange playing with the multiverse. and more. Then there were those who seem surprised that there is no sign of long rumors of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Men, or Daredevil appearing. There really should be a question as to why anyone would expect so much from a teaser? We already know that Marvel doesn't like to reveal the biggest secrets of their films, so we were never going to have all the rumors confirmed now.

Sony has updated the film's synopsis, which reads: "For the first time in Spider-Man movie history , our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and is no longer able to separate his normal life. high stakes to be a superhero. When he asks Doctor Strange for help, the stakes get even more dangerous, forcing him to find out what it really means to be Spider-Man. "

We'll still have the final trailer coming up in about two months, by which time those who fancy seeing Spidey's elusive previous incarnations could finally make their wish come true.

Spider-Man: No Path Home enters theaters on December 17th.

Federal Reserve lent $300 billion in emergency funds to banks in the past week

WASHINGTON (AP) — Cash-short banks have borrowed about $300 billion from the Federal Reserve in the past week, the central bank announced Thursday. Nearly half the money — $143 billion — went to holding companies for two major banks that failed over the past week, Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, triggering widespread alarm in financial markets. The Fed did not identify the banks that received the other half of the funding or say how many of them did so. The holding companies for the two failed banks were set up by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, which has taken over both banks. The money they borrowed was used to pay their uninsured depositors, with bonds owned by both banks posted as collateral. The FDIC has guaranteed the repayment of the loans, the Fed said. The figures provide a first glimpse of the scale of the Fed’s assistance to the financial sector after the two banks collapsed this past weekend. ...
